Slaine - Can’t Go Home

This is my favorite song off of Slaine’s solid album A World With No Skies 2.0.  He’s easily one of Boston’s best rappers. The raw emotion he delivers in Can’t Go Home forcefully grips your brain and thrusts you into Slaine’s coldly illustrated world of confusion, hopelessness, and despair.  Portraying a feeling this profound and powerful, you can’t help but mentally get lost in Slaine’s haunting lyrics. This is just another example of truly amazing hip-hop that’s extremely overlooked.

I also rated this the 7th best song of 2011 for my “30 Best Hip-Hop Songs of 2011” list.
